in response to 1624doodlebug...   I know how you feel about being alone where there is no neighbors, Do you rent or own?
If you rent try and find a place in town close to people, If you own why not sell your house where you would have money in pocket to find something closer to people, and be a little more happier.
Where we live we have a couple of different transportation rides ones free if you get a medical card. Mountain state transportation, the other ride is through senior citizen building and it cost 1.00 dollar comming and going. This helps out nice when needing a ride and you meet people also.
I am in need of a metrocard so I can go to school this week, Can anyone help? I have no money and I am trying so hard to get an education so I can live a better life. Please help :/

If there is anyone that is out there that need help with any errands, babysitting, cleaning, cooking I will do it in exchange for some money so I can support myself. I am not here to ask for any handouts I will try my best to give something back in return. I am 18 years old. I have no one to support me my dad refuses to take care of me and my mom doesn't make enough money to help me at all. I have tried my best to look for a job but I have no luck with that. I am just looking for some money so I can be able to afford transportation to go to my classes and buy the books I need and a little pocket change to by food and take care of myself properly.

in response to Eutawangel...   Yes, I'm sorry that it is happening. May God have mercy on this nation. For now I guess we can spread the documentary Food Inc to as many as will listen and pray that God will raise up God-fearing politicians to stand up to the Big Business and corruption in the government that allows this to continue on. There are times that I want to enter into political office to stand against this sort of thing, but I know that it's only my place to be obedient to God in what He calls me to do, and so far He has not called me that way.

Eutawangel, please vote if you are not registered; I highly recommend voting for Michele Bachmann, as she is a true Christian who stands up for God with backbone and openly acknowledges her dependence upon the Holy Spirit, which you can read here:

My belief is that most of our problems in this nation will not be solved without a true Christian in the presidency who will have the backbone to stand up to all the corruption going on in our government, because "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." If we have presidents in office who "claim" they are Christians, like President Obama, but obviously care more about things like money and the economy than they do about standing without fear for truth and righteousness, that Jesus Christ is the only true God and that His moral law is the ONLY moral law we must live by (which is the moral law our Founding Fathers BUILT this whole country on, opening the first Congress in prayer to God in Jesus' name and making statements such as:

George Washington
1st U.S. President

"While we are zealously performing the duties of good citizens and soldiers, we certainly ought not to be inattentive to the higher duties of religion. To the distinguished character of Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian."
--The Writings of Washington, pp. 342-343.

John Hancock
1st Signer of the Declaration of Independence

"Resistance to tyranny becomes the Christian and social duty of each individual. ... Continue steadfast and, with a proper sense of your dependence on God, nobly defend those rights which heaven gave, and no man ought to take from us."
--History of the United States of America, Vol. II, p. 229.

John Adams
2nd U.S. President and Signer of the Declaration of Independence

"Suppose a nation in some distant Region should take the Bible for their only law Book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited! Every member would be obliged in conscience, to temperance, frugality, and industry; to justice, kindness, and charity towards his fellow men; and to piety, love, and reverence toward Almighty God ... What a Eutopia, what a Paradise would this region be."
--Diary and Autobiography of John Adams, Vol. III, p. 9.

"The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God."
--Adams wrote this on June 28, 1813, in a letter to Thomas Jefferson.

Clearly, many of our Founding Fathers would have never seen a person who does not live their life by the truth of the Bible to be fit as president of this country. How can you successfully run an entire country, if you don't even serve the God who made this country nor live by His principles? Many "claim" they are Christians, such as President Obama, but do they actually believe the Bible to be the only truth, the God of the Bible to be the only God, and live their lives according to that God and His truth?

I believe that as you read Bachmann's speech, you will agree she is a genuine Christian who practices her faith, not just claiming she believes, but putting her faith to work. "Faith without works is dead." - James 2:17 "You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone." -James 2:24

If you are like me, you are tired of those in the president's office and other offices of government who claim that they are Christians, but have NO WORKS to back it up. They say they are Christians, but then allow Mosques to be built without even opposing what is happening, as if they don't care that Mosques are an abomination to Almighty God.(Obama) They say they are Christians, but then actively go into other countries to murder others with war, instead of believing that prayer and God can change the situations of tyranny in other countries.(Bush)

I hope that Bachmann is being 100% honest in her convictions, and from the speech that she gave at Liberty University, I have to give her the benefit of the doubt and believe that she is.

If after reading what Bachmann has to say, you want to see her become president, you have to register with the Republican party in order to vote for her to be the Republican nomination for president, or else she won't get a shot. Here is the schedule for when you can vote in the Republican primaries to cast your vote:

I wasn't even planning on talking about this, but at this moment it was like a fire shut up in my bones. If Christians don't rise up and start DOING something to put a true Christian into the president's office and in other offices, the corruption will continue. We have to DO SOMETHING. Faith without works is dead. The very LEAST we can do is spread the truth about our candidates' religious convictions and whether they have works and the fruit of the Spirit to back up what they say, and then vote. If we won't even do this, how can we say we believe in God our care about the people in this country?

This was a rabbit trail to what I originally wanted to say, but I guess it was the Spirit of God moving me to speak. As far as your prayer request, I also need all my family members saved. If you haven't yet witnessed to them all, do so with your life AND open your mouth and share the Gospel with them. If you already have, continue to pray and never give up. Read Luke 18:1-8 every day as you continue to pray for them, and you can call this number to also have another fellow believer pray with you in faith for them- 1-866-857-4837 from 7p to 2:30a Eastern Standard time. After that, keep believing for them, praying for them, and loving them! I know it can be difficult, especially when they treat you badly, but that's what we've got to do! If we won't love our enemies, how can we call ourselves Christians?

Also, if they have intellectual arguments, you can buy them the books "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel and "The Answer to the Atheists' Handbook" by Richard Wurmbrand. These books will also build up your faith and give you great truths to battle the lies that many people try to hide behind.

God bless you.

in response to met31...   Thank you soo very much for sharing your heart on this. Actually I'm watching the documentary now & it's truly sad & yes I agree & even thought on that earlierbefore reading your reply; how that I did not want you to do what you felt was evil. I saw the part about the womans son tragic! It seems that fast food drives the 'Industry' that makes cheap & unhealthy food incl unnatural & cruel (people & animals) practices. I dont know if he got sick from fast food' or 'supermarket' meat...but it does seem fast food drives & has contributed to the changes in farming & food production. My prayer is that you be blessed with the job GOD desires & the car & help for you & your family! Also...may the Lord bless you, and keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you. Amen

P.S. In regards to "What aid is it that you are needing? Perhaps we can pray and believe God together for you." need: Salvation for mother Barbara & all her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren not saved in Jesus, as well as, thier parents & that I have a good & close relationship w/ Jesus & GOD willing a Godly spouse that GOD chooses & not be decieved & last that I graduate the Bachelors RN program...thanx!

If your ex moved on and has someone else, I believe I would move on, Be sure of your next relationship, Don't get married until you both are ready, and make sure it's of God's will and not of yours.
God Bless You on your next Relationship.
Hello everyone, I am new to this and just starting out. I have found myself in a situation I do not know how to get out of at the moment. I am a older guy who is living in Phoenix Arizona. I was in the hospital last year for over 5 months when I almost died 3 times from a ruptured large intestine. G_d must have some plan for me because I am still here but am now struggling to get caught up with the mortgage. What I need to do is find a grant of some kind that could help me get caught up all my accounts. I have a lot of local social programs, and many Churches with no success. I would like to find a roommate for my 3 bedroom home. I placed ads for the past 3 months and still have not found the right person. I am open to any suggestions that could help me right now... please do not spam me I am having a hard enough time with life as it is.
