Two more things ... one, The Salvation Army often offers assistance with med costs. And are you on Medicaid? If not, apply ... or rather, are you receiving food assistance? If not, apply for that too, ... once you get in the system, you become eligible for additional assistance, like with prescriptions. well i just got out of the hosp im in las vegas nv the had to put 2 stents in my main atery going to my heat that was 90% blocked the billing office from the hosp allready called me to inform me that after what the ins paid i still owe them 125.000 and change,there is no way i can pay that at once and the want it all well there is no way.
you are so very welcome i know most of the insurance think there money is comming out of there pocket even do we pay for it i am in the med field as a cna cert nursing assistant and i see it every day the hosp over bill the ins comp and we get hiegher co pay and deductabele. as for now i am not working the trying to put me on disabilty the meds im on making me feel so bad it takes all i can to get out of bed the haveme on plavix,lipotor,adanolol just had 2 stends put in my main atery going to my heart that was 90% blocked. got out of the hosp a few days ago and even do my ins comp is pretty good the billing office from the hosp allready called me and said i owe them hope you sitting down 125.000 and some changeyes no typo 125,000 and change oh well i told them to stand in line.i worked all my live to well most of it exept while i was married to my former husband who passed away in 2002 on new year eve.
