in response to fied... I can get you information where the government will help you with a down payment or ther finances but You would have to contact hud on the "get a house for a $1.00 program"but as you can imagine there is a long long line waiting.
Realisticly, I don't see anyone"giving" you a house to put on your land. Heck, houses that I think should be tore down have 10 to 30 thousand dollar price tags on them. The ones that should be at that price range they have at 100 to 150 thousand price range, and they wonder why we are in the fix that we are in. Greed. A very nasty vice.
Well, let me know if I can help you "try" for those government programs. Good Luck and God Bless
Sometimes in life you have to hit the bottom of the barrel to realize that the only way is up.Didn't your moma tell you that there would be days like this, mine did but she didn't warn me that it would be like being in the middle of a cornfield.
Put your heart and mind at easy about your son. You did the right thing.
In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost I pray, AMEN
in response to Schmidty... Very funny, but I don't think tossing a tire around will help much - though you may cause some stitches in those laughing while your busting you bum playing Greek games with a tire for a discus!
The one issue that so many tend to overlook is that moving of almost any kind is better than imitating a statue or throw rug. Stationary in the vertical or horizontal isn't going to tighten up the flab or help add a little muscle.
Sounds like you've lost some muscle tone - guys especially have that problem in the abdominal area. Those love handles are not accessories, they're a heart issue waiting to happen.
A couple easy stretches, like wall push ups, leg lifts and tummy twists can help target that area. Plus during the day at a desk or in the car (like at stop lights) tighten the abdomen as you take in a deep breath and then do a very tiny crunch by leaning just a bit forward from the chest. Back straight and don't bring the waist along for this - it stays back. That's how you get the crunch feeling in those muscles. But don't do more than a few while you are waiting for that light.
When you stand, try to find those tummy muscles. Their in there, you just have to really focus on finding them. Give a squeeze here and there to find those muscle groups and figure out which ones do what. Then when you are walking, every now and then, give those tummy muscles a little flexing. Tighten up for two steps and then let out, tighten up for two steps, then let out.
Gradually it gets easier as the muscle starts getting stronger. You can do it more often, but don't hold for more than 2-3 steps. Let your stomach get used to it slowly. You don't want to cramp it up or get sore.
Stretches are a good way to prepare the muscle groups for what's coming. I prefer the bands due to the resistance training aspect, it's less of a jolting impact and allows the muscles, joints and tendons time to strengthen and stretch as they work out.
Desk jockeys and couch potatoes need to also get up and stretch and walk around every 45min. or at least every hour and 15 min. at the most. The body tends to settle if you sit for long periods of time and that can cause swelling in the ankles and feet. It's no fun having to have your legs propped up on pillows resting as you wait for the fluids in your body to redistribute.
Excessive retention of fluids is something a dr. needs to check out and make sure that things are being flushed out of your system properly. Extra weight causes issues with many different internal workings...the best gift you can give to yourself and your loved ones - is losing the weight so that you'll be healthier and able to spend more time together.
Good luck with those pesky tummy rolls. But if you're determined, someday soon, the only rolls you'll be seeing, will be in a basket at the dinner table.
Take care - teddy bear...lol
