in response to Starshine... Well considering we have 2 dogs & 2 cats, I don't think he'll be giving in anytime soon. Lol. Our house has always been full of animals, but we reached new heights starting in 09, & it seemed like there was no let up. In 2009 we had Gracie *my first CockerSpaniel, now deceased of a heart problem. She was an elderly dog though, so she had a good life.* We had Duke Senior *my sister's first dog who is also deceased now, was hit by a car intentionally. Horrible people!* I also had Snowball Cat *deceased of a heart problem*, & KittyKitty. Although in 2009 they still belonged to my sister. Plus we had Tigger Cat our family cat, who is now in the geriatric stage of life. Anyway, so that was a total of 5 animals! 2 dogs & 3 cats. Then after Grace, Duke Senior & Snowball died, we had only 2 cats left. We were miserable though & couldn't bear not having our animals. I wasn't owned by any pet at the time, Becca was still owned by KittyKitty & Dad had Tigger. So I got Sadie, another CockerSpaniel. Becca got Duke Junior, & I got Coco, I was going to a school for the blind at the time, Becca was supposedly moving out with Duke Junior, & I didn't want Sadie to be alone, so I got Coco, from the same litter of puppies as Duke Junior. However, when I came home from the school, it turned out Becca hadn't moved out & I couldn't handle having Coco. Duke & Coco are both big dogs. Their mixed breeds of German Shepherd, Hound & Golden Retrievers among other things. So I gave Coco back to her original owner. So then there was KittyKitty, Sadie, Duke & Tigger. Since then it's just been KittyKitty *who now belongs to me, bc Becca can't take care of her & Duke Junior*, so I've got KittyKitty & Sadie, & Dad has Tigger & Becca has Duke Junior. So when Dot *The kitten has a dot on her paw & that's why she's been named Dot* came into our lives today, Dad was enraged. Lol. He was just like 'We had 5 animals, went down to 2, then back up to 5, then back down to 4, & now we've got 5 again! I SAID NO MORE ANIMALS! Why don't you people listen to me?'
Lol. So I guarantee you I'll have to give Dot up, though she's the most beautiful kitten I've ever seen next to KittyKitty.
