I waited a few days before posting anything here again. I still need a job. Still need money to get me through. I appreciate the ideas I've been given here..but some are not things I can do or have the money to do them with.

I keep hoping for a miracle...I know that's possible. So many things I need to take care of...HELP...somebody help.

Hi,

My name is Jennifer and I'm the single mom of a three year old litle girl. I am in desperate need of help paying my rent but only temporarily and I wil soon be able to pay it back. I just graduated law school and current work at the state's attorneys office. I am willing to prove everything about who I am if I can find a program or someone who can help. I will be an assistant state's attorney once I pass the bar exam. About 18 months ago my ex-husband left me and my daughter the day before we were moving into a new apartment. I was a student and a mother at the time and did not work. The new landlord would not let us move in because I didnt have an income and my old landlord gave us 2 weeks. I found what I though was a decent apartment in the same area. We soon find out it is infested with mice and roaches. Thinking that I would pass the bar (and get a substantial pay increase) I took a apartment that cost more. Then I didnt pass- probably due to stress and the fact that I worked full tie as a nanny at that point and couldnt take off anytime. Now here we are again. I am 1 month from taking the bar and I was forced to take time off from work. I was already behind on rent and now I cannot pay Jan. and Feb. rent. My landlord says thatI have 15 days to pay. My ex...who has 3 other children is evading child support and the state can only take 20% of his pay AFTER the other child supports..this is only 200 a month. I have no family to ask and I am very scared that my daughter and I will be on the street. I have bad credit from college and I do not qualify for any loans and I have noone to co-sign. I can't get state assistance because my pay -even though i'm not working for two months- is to high.

With the massive lay offs spreading around the world I’ve already seen the future of this present system of things collapse, but the good news is that on 2019 there will be a new world, under God. No more financial problem, physical illnesses etc. So my brothers and sisters, I would say..as Christ said,

“Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with…cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34-36

People that come in here to recieve help, that have their needs met-must make it a point to keep coming here to help others, that's needs have not yet been met. We have to help each other. That is what this is all about. The information that helped you, can also be information needed to help someone else also. We can help each other in here and can help ourselves all at the same time. It is very important while we are helping others to really pay close attention to their needs and the way that they feel. Listening to them closer, will help us be of better help to their needs. None of us are perfect, we all make mistakes. However, handing someone caring ears, tender heart and good advice and direction can be of great help. At some point in our lives, we have all needed some type of help or understanding. Life unfortunately is not problem free. Spending some of our time and being able to put aside our own difficulties to reach out and help someone else is priceless. Throw a lifeline to someone else and you may find that you may be helping yourself to explore and to recieve answers to your own situation, as well. Compassion and Understanding never hurts anyone, but it can help when they are in a crisis situation in desperate need of help. Plus, it makes us feel better to help someone else. We realize what economy is doing to us all, we don't need a reminder about that! However, we do need direction and inspiration to reach a goal that is inevitable. Some of us do not know where to turn or how to get help. Some of us learn from our own mistakes and by life's experiences of where and who to go to that will help assist us in meeting these needs. May God Bless you all. Love, Madonna.

in response to busterljp...   Yeah, thanks!  I'm definitely getting back to writing, it's just a slow process, ya know?  And my old job isn't worth anything.  I was treated horrible and my bosses were beyond reasonable.  =] I'm not worried about money that much.  I'm mostly just trying to figure out what I want to do with my life!  Thanks for the advice!  I'll definitely keep writing but as for walking back to my old job, no thanks!  Haha, I'm sure someone out there understands that much.

I am in desperate need of money.  I'm about to be kicked out of nursing school because I cannot pay the tuition.  i go to a hospital-based diploma program.  They are relativley new (2005 was the first year), so they have not completed the accreditation process.  (they received preliminary approval from the NLN, just waiting on the state to do its thing).  Anyway, I cannot qualify for federal loans or grants for that reason.  I do know what to do.  Any advice or kind souls out there?  Thanks!

I'm just tired. My husband has a lot of insecurities and jealousy. He needs to have surgery and his teeth worked on, all of which should have been done a very long time ago. Now it's on me to fix all the bad ever done. I have two kids that have needs. He feels that since one person can live off of 70 a week so should 3-4. He has a very skewed view of reality. He also has a very violent temper when things don't go his way. Anyways, I'm just tired of being tired. I have no friends here or anything. He won't let me geta job so it's me and my kids 24/7 with absolutely no time apart. To all of you having a hard time right now I truly hope things get better. I find new info on here everyday so just keep looking. A lot of people here can guide you to the right place. My mom used to say "this too shall pass and that god only gives you what you can handle." She never said how long it would take to pass or that sometimes God gets really really busy with everything and forgets what he already gave you. Good luck.
